BRIEF HISTORY OF AUDI
Developed and introduced in early 1909 by August Horch, Audi was one of the four vehicle manufacturers that merged together in order to create the Auto Union. This merger took place in 1932. As there are four of these companies, four interlocking rings were crafted, hence the modern day Audi logo. The Auto Union was sold in the year 1950 and then sold once again in the 1960s to Volkswagen (VW). To this day, Audi has been a part of the VW group. Audi has an always will be one of the Titans in a vicious and competitive world. Whether looking at their SUVs or their Sedans, Audi has always been at the top, and most likely always will.
Perhaps one of the most popular Audi models on the road today is the Audi A5 coupe. The vehicle is fitted with an averagely beefy four cylinder, and is more than stylish enough to turn heads as it drives by. The model is one that car enthusiasts and daily commuters love. With 260 horsepower, and a zero to sixty (mph) time of under 6 seconds, there’s truly nothing not to love. Maintenance has always been and will continue to be easy. The sound of the engine is magnificent, and the style of said vehicle will never stray from anything but brilliant.
The Audi Q8 is the new face of SUV brilliance. With nearly 350 horsepower, a V6 engine, and a fully loaded interior, the Q8 gives virtually every competitor a run for their money. The Q8 is one of the newest hybrid vehicles to hit the road and does so with advanced technology patented by Audi themselves. Keep an eye out for Audi’s new and improved Q8, for it should be a wonder beyond comprehension.
Here at Warranty World, we’re able to resolve virtually every issue you may experience. Cylinder heads and the engine block may cause you some trouble, but not worry, Warranty World has that covered. It’s important to note however that the above is not covered if related to overheating (regardless of what the cause may be). Warranty World also covers any and all parts that are known to be lubricated. This includes the following; camshafts, crankshafts, bearings of all types, connection points and connection rods, gears, timing chains, belts, tensioners, rocker arms, all valves, pistons, valve guides, valve springs, all other valve parts, all lubricated pins and pin assemblies, as well as piston rings and similar parts. It is important to note that diesel fuel injection systems are not included under our coverage.
Here at Warranty World, all things transmission are covered. Your transmission is what handles gears and various similar systems. Examples being RWD, AWD, FWD, and all systems. Ever put your car into reverse? Ever heard it shift through gears? Well, that’s your transmission. Warranty World covers all parts relating to this, excluding all components related to any manual clutch assembly your car may be equipped with.
Curious as to what your transfer case does? Well, this is responsible for changing between gear setups in eligible cars. For example, most pickup trucks have the ability to change from either RWD or AWD, and become 4WD. Rather than only two wheels utilizing power, now all four wood. As you may already understand, the transfer case is incredibly important, and Warranty World has it covered when it’s damaged from within.
Warranty World covers virtually everything that relates to differentials, except for 4WD locking mechanisms, as these are unrelated to the differential. Coverage is applicable when damage comes from within, meaning all internal parts are covered.
Both these systems allow for excellent performance across all vehicles equipped with them, however, they tend to go through a lot of strain when the vehicle is driven hard. In order to further protect these systems, they have been covered by Warranty World. This warranty covers all internal parts, and some external parts (housings, casings, etc.).
Audi Recalls List
It’s important to keep up to date with various recalls as they are declared. Ignoring a recall could lead to a very unfortunate accident. For example, if your seatbelt system is faulty, and may give out on you during an accident, you could die. That’s something that should be taken incredibly seriously. Below we’ve attached a list of Audi recalls that are viable and prominent to all modern-day Audi models that are on the road currently.
