Warranty World

Jeep Warranty Canada

From the battlefields of WWII to the backwoods and down the highways, the history of Jeep radiates American as no other vehicle can, with a rich heritage connected to freedom, authenticity, adventure, and passion. The utilitarian good looks of the original Jeep have been hailed by industrial designers and museum curators alike presenting us with our current 2019/2020 models.

The Jeep brand has always emphasized the vehicles' off-road capabilities, conjuring images of backwoods adventure and offroading power. Whether it’s a Wrangler with the top down on a desert trail, or a Grand Cherokee carrying a family confidently through the snow, Jeep vehicles are perfectly suited for challenging Canadian environments and climates, from Ontario to B.C.

  • 3 years / 60,000 km
  • includes: Three-way catalytic converter, engine control module
(ECM), on board diagnostic connector and engine check light)

  • 5 years / 100,000 km

  • Basic Limited Warranty: Jeep coverage plans begin with a “Basic Limited Warranty” that covers your jeep for 3-years or 60,000 km, whichever comes first. It begins when you purchase a new Jeep and during its terms, it will cover any manufacturer’s errors or defects. The Basic Limited Warranty does not cover unwired headphones, tires, or parts and accessories added to customize a Jeep.
  • Powertrain Limited Warranty: Jeep does provide its vehicles’ powertrain system with one of the longest factory coverages in the U.S. auto industry. But the powertrain coverage only protects the major components of the vehicle such as the engine, transmission, and drive train. This warranty covers five years or over 100,000 km and is fully transferable with $0 deductible.
  • 24 Hour Roadside Assistance: Canadian weather is full of surprises. Tires go flat in inclement weather conditions, and even the healthiest of batteries can fail during the intense cold. That’s where roadside assistance comes in, and it’s just a phone call away. Chrysler’s roadside assistance is at the ready if you ever experience an emergency.
  • Corrosion Warranty: Through Jeep and Fiat-Chrysler of America, there is an anti-corrosion warranty for all the vehicle’s exterior and interior panels. This is unique to Jeep because the cars have a reputation for toughness and the ability to drive on and off-road in any manner of environment and climate.
  • Jeep Emissions Warranty: In Jeep’s Federal Emissions Warranty, emissions parts are covered for three years or 60,000 km under the basic limited warranty. Emissions parts covered under this plan include air system controls, oxygen sensors, Fuel injection system, and more.

The history of Jeep goes back for more than 75 years, and to this day exists as an American icon that has played an intricate role in shaping the country’s history. The Jeep became the primary light 4-wheel-drive vehicle of the United States Army and the Allies during World War II, as well as during the postwar period. After World War II, Jeep began to experiment with new designs with the goal of making them consumer-facing. The Jeep proved a hit with veterans who appreciated the sheer durability of the vehicle.

The Jeep brand has gone through many owners since its creation, starting with Willys-Overland, which filed the original trademark application for the "Jeep" brand-name in February 1943. Jeep was owned by Chrysler from 1987-1998 and finally acquired by FCA US LLC, the owners of Chrysler, Fiat, and many other successful brands. While their designs remain firmly in the rugged and masculine arenas of vehicle branding, they’ve proven to be an in-demand product outside of America, especially in Canada.

Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo

This is one of Jeep’s most popular models, and unlike some of the softer SUVs, Grand Cherokee is a true Jeep that can tackle the most challenging trails in any Canadian season. People like to refer to this as a “family hauler” that can deliver any outdoor adventure with Jeep durability. The 2019/2020 Grand Cherokee Laredos have opted for a more luxurious and upscale look as opposed to what Jeep is mostly known for, but still brings the toughness offering 295 hp, highway fuel economy 9.6L/100 KM (29 mpg.) Under the hood, we’ve got a 3.6L Pentastar Variable Valve Timing (VVT) V6 with Engine Stop/Start (ESS) technology.

Jeep Gladiator Overland

Jeep Gladiator Overland: The Jeep Gladiator is an adventure machine that has enough tech to appease modern truck buyers. It was introduced to the marketplace in the Spring of 2019 and offered what many Jeep fans had been desiring: a Jeep Wrangler with a pickup bed. Essentially, a Wrangler as a pickup truck. While many buyers will use the truck for typical road and city driving, the Gladiator is perfectly built for offroading like any Wrangler or SUV. The Overland model promises 285 and a fuel economy of Hwy 10.4L/100 KM (27 mpg) by way of 3.6L PentastarTM VVT V6 with 6-speed manual transmission or 8-speed automatic transmission.

Jeep Wrangler Rubicon

Jeep Wrangler Rubicon: The Wrangler stands as Jeep’s undeniably most popular model, and helped pioneer the car culture of adventure, personalization, and durability. While it may look rugged and intimidating on the outside, the Wrangler can stand up to any SUV on the market, boasting a highway fuel economy of 9.4L/100 KM (30 mpg) made possible with its 2.0L I-4 DOHC Direct-Injection Turbocharged engine with eTorque technology., along with its 8-speed automatic transmission. The Rubicon model also comes equipped with tow hooks, making it perfect for Canadian outdoor treks.
