BRIEF HISTORY OF LAND ROVER
The first Land Rover was officially launched in Wales in 1948, its design influenced by the Jeep. The original prototype was produced with a center steering wheel, military green paint, airplane aluminum bodywork and bolt-on bumpers. Regarded as an iconic British car, so much so that King George VI granted Land Rover a Royal Warrant in 1951.
The Range Rover was launched in 1970, an elegant two-door vehicle with permanent four-wheel drive. This was an introduction to the world of utility vehicles and commercial success.
In 2008 Ford Motor Company sold Land Rover, and Jaguar, to Tata Motors. By 2013, Land Rover and Jaguar Cars had previously been operating as separate companies. The restructured and became the Jaguar Land Rover Automotive PLC. Now, Jaguar Land Rover Limited is responsible for all the marketing, manufacturing, and design of both Land Rover and Jaguar automobiles.
Depicted as both rugged and swanky, the Land Rover brand encompasses a range of four-wheel-drive models; its additions to the family demonstrates a commitment to both performance and luxury masterfully executed for years to come.
No other experience compares to the drive of a Range Rover, a full-sized luxury SUV. There are three engine choices for the Range Rover, including a 254-hp, 3.0-liter turbo diesel. Gas engine includes a 380-hp, supercharged 3.0L V6 and a 518- or 557-hp supercharged 5.0L V8 for the top models. For 2020, Range Rover expanded its powertrain line-up to include a plug-in hybrid electric. The iconic vehicle is packed with exceptional design, interior and tech capabilities that stand out as the pinnacle of both performance and luxury.
Range Rover Sport
The sportier design commands attention with its modern and powerful look. The Sport is the first Range Rover to offer the new mild-hybrid (MHEV) inline 6-cylinder Ingenium gasoline engine, available in 355 hp and 395 hp outputs. Designed for impact, the Sport combines superior all-terrain capabilities with refined exterior lines and a stylish interior. One of the best off-roaders in the luxury midsize class, the Sport has enough powertrain for the off-road adventurist. However, its sporty handling is a popular option for on the road, too.
The Discovery Sport is a compact luxury crossover SUV with innovative powertrain, iconic design, and beautifully appointed interiors. Synonymous with an upscale image, Every model is powered by a turbocharged four-cylinder engine that makes between 246 and 286 horsepower, and there’s a choice between gasoline and diesel options. The Sport can even wade into as much as 23.6 inches of water and tow up to 4409 pounds. Available safety systems include adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, and lane-keep assist.
Here at Warranty World, we’re able to resolve virtually every issue you may experience. Cylinder heads and the engine block may cause you some trouble, but not worry, Warranty World has that covered. It’s important to note however that the above is not covered if related to overheating (regardless of what the cause may be). Warranty World also covers any and all parts that are known to be lubricated. This includes the following; camshafts, crankshafts, bearings of all types, connection points and connection rods, gears, timing chains, belts, tensioners, rocker arms, all valves, pistons, valve guides, valve springs, all other valve parts, all lubricated pins and pin assemblies, as well as piston rings and similar parts. It is important to note that diesel fuel injection systems are not included under our coverage.
Here at Warranty World, all things transmission are covered. Your transmission is what handles gears and various similar systems. Examples being RWD, AWD, FWD, and all systems. Ever put your car into reverse? Ever heard it shift through gears? Well, that’s your transmission. Warranty World covers all parts relating to this, excluding all components related to any manual clutch assembly your car may be equipped with.
Curious as to what your transfer case does? Well, this is responsible for changing between gear setups in eligible cars. For example, most pickup trucks have the ability to change from either RWD or AWD, and become 4WD. Rather than only two wheels utilizing power, now all four wood. As you may already understand, the transfer case is incredibly important, and Warranty World has it covered when it’s damaged from within.
Warranty World covers virtually everything that relates to differentials, except for 4WD locking mechanisms, as these are unrelated to the differential. Coverage is applicable when damage comes from within, meaning all internal parts are covered.
Both these systems allow for excellent performance across all vehicles equipped with them, however, they tend to go through a lot of strain when the vehicle is driven hard. In order to further protect these systems, they have been covered by Warranty World. This warranty covers all internal parts, and some external parts (housings, casings, etc.).
